Small Businesses Find a New Source for Funding

These days, small-business owners are turning to credit unions for loans. Unlike banks, most credit unions haven't suffered from multibillion-dollar losses from subprime lending. Also, many investors abandoned the stock market in 2008 to pursue savings accounts, providing more cash for credit unions.
